ASOS plc (/ˈeɪsɒs/ AY-soss) is a British online fashion and cosmetic retailer. The company was founded in 2000 in London, primarily aimed at young adults.[3] The website sells over 850 brands as well as its own range of clothing and accessories, and ships to all 196 countries from fulfillment centers in the UK, US and EU.

Jenn was very upset with her shopping experience and shared her comments on sitejabber.com, "ASOS has low-quality products plus I paid $70 customs fee on $180 shopped items. I've been ordering many other online sites that are located overseas and NEVER had to pay such fees. They're always advertising with sales price with nice design clothing but do not trust. You're going to end of paying high (what they're calling) "customs fee" and receiving horrible quality items (with stitches out). This site is totally scam. People who left good reviews are probably some are also a scam/part of the team."

Long hours with weekend working no progression unless you know how to stroke egos The team don't understand experimental research methods or machine learning outside of neural networks extreme bias against working class, BAME, and muslims. Product owners don't know much about product ownership or management"

"If you have any type of ambition this is not the place for you. It’s a glorified call centre and team leaders will do their best to make it hard for you to do anything but that. The majority of people working there are around 18-21 so can get very childish and feels like college more than an actual place of work. The pay is rubbish, the processes are unrealistic and you’re treated like a school child. The list goes on"

"The worst job I ever did. Salary is low. Poor management (they treat you like sh.t). To hard to get to the workplace, there is one bus and a shuttle bus every hours that means you have to be at work at least 30 min before your start. If you are late a min, they can give a hard time. It doesn't worth to work there for this salary and this much stress. No work load but they are literally watching everything you do. Too much one to one. If the manager doesn't like you for your religion or your race they can really treat you badly. Very bad experience. They bully you all the time. The manager can literally site on you and watch everything you do because they don't have any work to do... Too much bully. They ever miss an occasion to bully you. Don't go there. Cons: Too far, poor salary, poor management."

"It is insane that I placed an order less than thirty minutes ago and cannot change the delivery address. The person was unhelpful trying to figure this out and I'm really upset by this service. I've been ordering from ASOS forever and this will be the last time. "Absolute scam!! I purchased a few dresses to pick the ones I like and they sent me wrong items along my order which missing a dress. I contacted their chat customer service and they said I have to pay for the return. They refuse the return and wanted me to dispute it through my bank!!! Worse customer service. stay Away."

"They really ought to update how to transact items with an option to update our addresses, as this can cause confusion and misunderstanding of an item being sent off to the wrong address. Was told not only will I not be refunded but to go retrieve the item myself during a lockdown! I don’t understand how hard it is to replace an item and update a simple address?? This was meant to be a Christmas gift card given to me from a family member, I don’t usually shop on ASOS and I certainly won’t be returning again after this experience."

"AVOID!!! PROFESSIONAL SCAMMERS IN DISGUISE. Just like you, I was searching for a specific shoe and ASOS came up as a merchant with the stock. I looked into their shipping to Canada and saw they offer a discount to account for the customs rate. I looked into reviews and saw many negative experiences, but I was naive and thought it wouldn't happen to me because they seem to be an official company with their structure and website design. I placed my order, and that's where the nightmare begins. My order arrived directly to the postal office as it required a payment before picking it up. I went to pick it up and when I opened it as I arrived home, the shoe was the totally different shoe from what I ordered. The name on the box was a different model, so I immediately contacted ASOS which is only available via email and chat. I told the rep of the error their company had fulfill and they said I would need to return it, but there was a charge when completing the return process. So now I would be at a loss of an extra $40 due to the customs charge and now the shipping charge. Given that these weren't even close to the shoes I wanted, I needed to return it to fix ASOS mess. The tracker showed the shipment reached ASOS at the beginning of December. After this was completed, I reached out to an ASOS rep who said my refund was being processed within 10 business days. After 10 business days had come, I contact ASOS again to follow-up. The new rep said there was no record of the refund and they were now sending a new refund and it would be available in 10 business days. To no surprise, I did not received any refund and reached out again but only email contact was available. I was then told that the refund would be processed 19 business days and all the previous reps were wrong. They told me I should expect the refund within 2 more business days. Unfortunately, still no refund and no response from ASOS. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM, THEY SEND YOU THE WRONG PRODUCT AND MAKE YOU PAY FOR SHIPPING! AND THEN YOU DO NOT GET YOUR MONEY BACK. I AM SHARING MY EXPERIENCE AS I REGRET BEING NAIVE OVER 2 MONTH AGO. BUY SOMEWHERE ELSE MORE REPUTATABLE, EVEN IF ITS MORE MONEY OR LOSE YOUR MONEY WITH ASOS!"

"ASOS customer service has went completely downhill in the last few months. They used to be the best customer service. What has happened? Made an order on 26/11/20, marked as sent by ASOS on 04/12/20, estimated delivery 09/12/20. The money has came out my bank. ASOS says it was declined so to contact iDEAL (never heard of them, no evidence they made the transaction, do not have an account, no idea where they are based). After 54 days and SEVEN different contact occasions to customer services (the most recent being today at 48 minutes long!!!) I still don't have my refund, nor even close. They cannot give me evidence that I was "refunded" or my payment was declined. I will never use ASOS again. There is a sheer lack of care and negligence by the team. Extremely disappointed."

"I ordered 2 items within the same order with next day delivery. One of the items was delivered 2 days later with no issue. The other was not delivered because it says I gave them the "wrong address" (despite the fact that it was correct and the other item was delivered with no issues). Because I needed the item soon, I opted to have the package rerouted to a pickup location per the request of the deliverers. The item went missing and it has been a week and I still do not have the item. I bought this item with next day delivery because I needed it. I reached out to ASOS customer service to explain how frustrating this was and ask if they could do anything to rectify the situation and they offered nothing to make up for their false advertising of next day shipping. I think this is terrible business."

"I am not sure what took her so long to respond to because I gave her all the information she needed and additionally offering to send her pictures of the conversation I had with the last customer service representative. She was slow to answer my questions and even tried to change the subject by asking what was the reason for the return. Lastly, she did not even give me the chance to respond before ended the chat by provided an automated farewell. Would give it a 0/5 if I could and I will be connecting with another representative shortly to ensure she actually sent in a request for my refund."
